The Mill Cottages.

The Mill Cottages are in the village next to mine, a very tranquil place and one of my favourite walks, the river looks a bit muddy here, because the weir is open draining the water out of this inlet, we have had so much rain the rivers are brimming and running really fast, so the weir being open protects these little cottages.

This one's whittlesford or duxford isn't it? A fabulous picture though, great composition and the vast array of browns and greens looks beautiful

Beautiful. The English countryside is right out of the pages of fantasy books, which I love.
Its been very dry down here and we had a little rain last night which smelled and felt fantastic. Send some more please.

Looks very tranquil and Hobbit-like for sure. We had a lot of water runoff a couple weeks ago and things are back to normal. Perhaps there will be a break in the gloom for the sun to pop out for you soon.
