It looks like a typical English country village. Must be a very relaxing atmosphere. Is the village far from a large city. Over here if you live in such a place you are normally far from a major city which kinda puts you out in the middle of nowhere.
I have no problem in understanding that you enjoy living there:
I used to spend every summer in England as a sportswriter. Love the fact that you can see not one but two steeples in this shot.

Also I am very familiar with Ickleton Village my Father still lives ther on Butchers Hill my Mother recently passed away
