That is such a special photo. I wish I had more photos of my dad and grandmother who we both lost two years ago. I need to get my mom to be in some photos, even if it is just hand photos.
Oh wow. I love this shot and the one yesterday as well. I am working on a blog at the moment that is the best of my photos. I am trying for one of each category. I will have a link on my blog about it soon.

These hands tell a history - are full of history.
Those are beautiful hands, they make me want to cry, those hands held you, spanked you (I'm sure!) and fixed you cookies as well as did your hair for school, I bet those hands have more stories than we could ever imagine......Those hands deserve a kiss!
That is really special. Hands are very expressive, I think they are easily underestimated as good subjects for photos. Very, very well done, perfect shot. And WOW, an exhibition!!! Very exciting!
I have my mum's hands, sadly she is no longer with us, but I see her when I look at my own small hands and feel blessed.
