The heavens have opened and we have had nothing but rain today, and on top of that the lens I ordered last Friday has not appeared, having waited in all day, I phoned the wholesaler who said OOps its out of stock and there is a 3-4 week wait, Fab!! in 3 weeks I am in Arizona for approx a month, so I had to cancel my order, refund my plastic (what a performance) and re-order, through a company, a fellow photographer recommended, but that I have never used !! so heres hoping, So, my Dandelion is from this summer, on the rare handful of days when we had sunshine...lol !!!Monday, 24 November 2008

Pity about the lens. That kind of thing I don't order through the net, for two reasons:
1. You have discovered it.
2. If it doesn't work, I can take it back to the dealer and say:"Listen....!!"
Anyhow, there isn't that much to save if you look around.
Oh, and I loved you black-and-white dandelion has-been!

The exact same thing happened to me with my recent purchased - I ordered the camera and lens from the same shop, only to find out DAYS later that they had no stock of the lens. HAAA. Also re-ordered from a different shop and all turned out well. But so frustrating when you're really waiting with bated breath for it to arrive!
Really like the detail in that shot and it works perfectly in black & white.
Get your lens yet? What ya getting? (I love getting a new lens!) Nice dandelion too...... :-)
