My Village Church.

St. Mary Magdalene is one of the most important Romanesque churches in the country. It was built by the Normans c.1100 and has medieval wall paintings. I couldn't get inside as a service was taking place to show the interior. So this is the heart of my village, 16 miles from the centre of Cambridge, 50 miles from London, it is an Oasis of calm, and a wonderfully close knit community.

I like the first one best but the second..... is a close second. Nice angles on the shots. Now i the weather would only break for a little more blue in the sky.

Here is a tutorial on the lightbox effect for images. It is not hard to do but you have to manually edit every photo for the effect. If it is not clear and you need examples email me at perry at pccaprice dot com

I just love small town and village churches. They have so much more character than big city churches
